About Us
Established in 1883 by Charles W. Kurth, Kurth Agencies Inc., Inc has grown to a full-service insurance agency in Westland, MI. We serve individuals, families, and businesses throughout the greater Detroit metropolitan area. Since our humble beginning, we’ve always instilled a sense of family in every meeting we have with our clients. We realize we wouldn’t be around for more than a century without you!

How do I file a claim?
If you need to file a claim, you can contact the agency directly and we’ll point you in the right direction. On your policy documents, there will also be instructions for filing a claim as well. Feel free to contact our agency with any questions about the claims process!
How often should I review my insurance coverage?
We like to review your insurance coverage with you at each policy renewal. Sometimes this can be a quick process or we can dive deeper if some things changed in your life, or if you’d just like to!
What happens if I need to make changes to my policy mid-term?
If you need to make any changes to your policy at any time, the best way is to contact us via phone or e-mail. One of us in the office will be there to help and get it taken care of in a timely matter. If on the weekends or after hours, our voicemail has a phone number you can reach depending on the company your insurance is with.
